All you need to know ahead of APS Bomet game

Tusker FC faces APS Bomet in the final game of the 2025/26 SportPesa League season at the Wang’uru Stadium in Mwea.

The Brewers will be looking for a positive end following a difficult campaign. The last two matches, which ended in defeats, have come short of expectation but the players are determined to put that behind their backs.

APS, coached by former Tusker FC coach and defender Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo on their end come into the match as the most in-form team of the league, with five victories in a row. They are placed just a point below the Brewers in the standings, and the match offers them a chance to move up.

Head to head:

Tusker will be taking on APS for the third time this season. The two sides faced off in a pre-season friendly in Kericho, Tusker winning 1-0 courtesy of an Eric Kapaito overhead kick.

In the league, Tusker won by a similar margin, a goal scored in the dying minutes by Dennis Oguta, who had come off the bench.

Team news:

Tusker FC is boosted by the return of midfielder Fabian Adikiny, who missed the midweek defeat to Ulinzi Stars on suspension after accumulating five yellow cards.

Out of this match will be defender Francis Oduor and midfielder Vincent Owino. Oduor has been out for a month and a half with a hairline foot fracture, but has returned to training. This week, he joined full training, but has not passed the 100 percent fitness test for matchday inclusion.

Owino on the other hand has been ruled out for the rest of the season, after undergoing knee surgery.

Gate charges and match timings:

The match will kick off at 3pm, and entrance at the Wang’uru International Stadium will be free of charge.
