Team intensifies training in Nairobi ahead of FKF MozzartBet Cup final in Kwale

The team began the week with focus, determination, and hunger as preparations intensified for Sunday’s FKF MozzartBet Cup final against Kenya Police FC at Kwale Stadium in Kenya’s coastal region.

Following last weekend’s SportPesa League season finale against APS Bomet, the players were afforded four days off before returning to training on Friday to begin their build-up to the decisive clash.

Monday marked the start of a crucial week for the club, with every detail of the final coming into sharp focus as the team gears up for a shot at silverware and the opportunity to end an otherwise challenging season on a high.

“We know what lies ahead of us, and I require maximum focus and hard work from all of you. You have an opportunity to write your names into the club’s history books and win something not only for yourselves, but also for your families,” head coach Julien Mette told the players after Tuesday’s training session at the Kasarani Annex.

The team has received a further boost on the injury front. Apart from midfielder Vincent Owino, whose season ended following knee surgery, the rest of the squad is available for selection. Francis Oduor has fully recovered and is back in contention for a place in Sunday’s matchday squad.

The team is scheduled to depart Nairobi for Kwale later this week as the countdown to the final continues.
