Tusker FC goalkeeper Brian Bwire says he eyes the golden glove this season, and believes he has his work cut out in the race to be named FKF Premier League goalkeeper of the year.
Bwire has so far kept nine clean sheets in 19 league matches, and is second on the golden glove race.
“It has been okay working every day to try and improve. But I am not satisfied. I believe I still have to work more to ensure that I get better each day. I can say so far the performance has been average,” Bwire says.
He adds; “My target this season is to win the golden glove. I believe I still stand a good chance and I will look to keep more clean sheets in the remaining 14 games of the season.”
