Tusker FC is thrilled to announce the promotion of young midfielder Teddy Dok from the Youth team to the senior squad. This exciting move underscores the club’s commitment to nurturing and integrating homegrown talent into the first team.
Teddy Dok, who has been a standout performer in our Youth setup, has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill, vision, and dedication on the field. His promotion is a testament to his hard work and the faith that the coaching staff has in his potential to contribute to the senior team.
“We are delighted to elevate Teddy to the senior squad,” said Tusker FC interim coach Charles Okere.
He adds; “I have worked with him for the past two season and I have seen first hand how his performances at the Youth level have been impressive, and we believe he has the qualities to make a significant impact with the first team. We are excited to see him develop further and contribute to our ongoing success.”
Dok, who started his young career at Mathare Flames before joining the Youth Team has shown remarkable promise, earning accolades for his creativity and tenacity in midfield. His promotion is a key part of Tusker FC’s strategy to build a strong, dynamic team with a blend of experienced players and emerging talent.
On his promotion, Teddy says; “I am really delighted because this is everything I dreamed of when I joined the Youth Team. I am glad to see all the hard work pay of but for me, I have just started. I need to keep working hard to ensure that I sustain myself in the team and move on to the next step of my career.”
