Assistant coach Anthony Kimani has challenged the players to pull the handbrakes off, and play to their abilities, saying they are much better than the results recently posted.
Ahead of the season-ending game against Mara Sugar FC on Sunday at the Wang’uru Stadium in Mwea, the coach believes the team has what it takes to bounce back from two consecutive defeats.
“It has been difficult definitely losing two games in a row, but what we have reminded the players is that those results do not reflect the quality they have as players. They need to rise beyond those results and try get something positive from the final match of the season. It will go a long way in boosting their confidence,” the coach said.
Looking forward to the game against APS, the coach said it will be a difficult match, but one the team has the ability to win.
“They are a good side and one of the most in-form teams of the league. They have confidence and definitely won’t be easy against them. But we are equally are a good side and have prepared well for the task,” coach Kimani added.
The match will be played at 3pm.
