Coach Charles Okere has praised the team’s attention to tactical detail in Saturday’s 1-0 win away to Mara Sugar.
The tactician was relieved to see the team bounce back to winning ways after successive defeats.
Coach Okere says the team stuck to the plan and executed it well, ensuring the team got three vital points on the road.
“Congratulations to our boys because they did really well. We had analyzed our opponents and we knew how they were playing and we had identified areas where we could exploit to get positive results. It was all about tactical discipline and dominant positional play which gave us a good result,” the coach opined.
He says the victory would be crucial in improving the morale of the squad, and boosting confidence for the final four games of the year.
Meanwhile, the coach was also pleased with Brandon Obiero’s performance, the keeper making his debut starting in place of the injured Brian Opondo.

“I am very pleased for him being his first game and keeping a cleansheet on top of the win. Now I wish him all the best and it is now up to him to be consistent. He had a really good game and made some superb saves which ensured we didn’t concede. This is now a challenge to the players that once you are given a chance, it is up to you to make use of it,” the tactician opined.
