Tusker FC left back Dennis ‘Decha’ Wanjala has urged for focus from his teammates as the league enters the homestretch with seven remaining games.
Wanjala scored the lone crucial goal that saw the team win 1-0 against City Stars on Sunday, to move top of the FKF Premier League standings.
The victory saw Tusker move to 51 points in the FKF Premier League log, two ahead of second placed Police FC.
“We have to remain focused for the remaining games of the season. This victory is now behind us and we need to fix our eyes on the next game. They will not be easy fixtures and we have to give our all on the pitch,” Wanjala noted.
The left wingback scored his first goal in Tusker colors, adding on to the five assists already on his name.
“I am delighted to have scored my first goal for the team. It was not an easy match but we worked hard as a team to get the three points. The goal is a motivator for the next match to keep on with the same momentum,” noted Wanjala, who joined Tusker at the start of the season from City Stars.
