Striker Ryan Ogam has been awarded Player of the Month for October and November in recognition of his impressive goal-scoring form.
Ogam has netted seven goals in just six matches, making him the current joint top scorer in the FKF Premier League.
The accolade was determined by votes from teammates, coaches, and staff members, with Ogam emerging victorious over fellow finalists Shaphan Siwa, Charles Momanyi, and George Kaddu.
“I am thrilled to receive this award—it means a great deal to me,” Ogam said. “I owe this achievement to my teammates, as I couldn’t have reached this point without their support. The coaches have also been instrumental in my progress. This recognition motivates me to continue working hard and scoring more goals.”
Ogam, who joined Tusker FC at the start of the season from the now-defunct Rainbow FC, was presented with the award during a luncheon organized by the club’s management at the Utalii Hotel in Nairobi.
Christine Kariuki, Marketing Manager at Tusker, said:
“It’s truly a pleasure to be part of this ceremony. There’s nothing more fulfilling than coming together to celebrate the progress we’ve made, and to honor the players, the technical staff, and the management for their hard work and dedication.”
She added:
“As KBL, we remain fully committed to supporting the team in every way possible—not just in recognizing outstanding players, but in ensuring that every member of this squad stays motivated and inspired to reach their full potential.”
Tusker FC CEO Sam Nzau also commented:
“With hard work, consistency, and faith in God, there’s nothing we can’t achieve. I want to congratulate Ryan for his well-deserved recognition. His achievements are the result of his dedication, both on and off the pitch, where his discipline has been exemplary.”
He continued:
“I would also like to express our gratitude to our sponsors. Without their support, much of this would not be possible. They’ve played a crucial role in providing the resources we need to succeed.”
