Tusker FC has continued to bolster its squad for the 2025/26 season with the arrival of experienced defender Francis Oduor, whose last work station was with KCB FC.
Oduor has penned a year-long deal at Ruaraka that will take him through the end of the 2025-26 season.
Oduor joins the Brewers with a wealth of top-flight experience and is expected to add depth, leadership, and solidity to the squad as the team continues to build a competitive side for the new campaign.
Speaking after completing his move, Oduor expressed his excitement at joining the club:
“Tusker FC is one of the most successful and respected clubs in the country. I’m proud to be here and eager to give my best for the badge and the fans. I’m ready to get started and contribute wherever the team needs me. I want to make my own contribution to the team’s success and give my best whenever called upon,” said Oduor, who has also previously featured for Bidco United.
Head coach Charles Okere welcomed the new addition, saying:
“Francis is a solid defender with great awareness and discipline. His presence will boost our defensive options and bring experience to the dressing room. We are happy to have him on board.”
Oduor has already joined the team in training and is blending in well with his new teammates.
This brings to seven the number of new players in the team. The club has already signed defender Eugene Ikutwa (Bidco United), winger Yakeen Muteheli (Ulinzi Stars), midfielder Vincent Otieno (City Stars) while Eric Kapaito has returned from Namungo in Tanzania.
George Odhiambo and David Polepole have meanwhile been promoted from the Youth Team.
