George Kaddu speaks on his Tusker FC experience so far

Ugandan defender George Kaddu says he has finally picked pace in the team, after the first three matches of the FKF Premier League season, and says he is now ready to give even more as the campaign progresses.

Kaddu has been one of the standout figures at the team so far, and has been involved in four of the five goals we have scored so far this season. He believes he has done this, even though he has been pushing at less than 100 percent of his ability.

“The first game was really tough for me because I was still trying to adapt to the league. The teams are really good and they are very aggressive. I can say that in the second and third matches, I tried to settle in really well and so far so good. I believe I am coping,” the soft spoken Ugandan left back stated.

He says he feels more settled in the team now, and looks forward to achieving even greater things.

“So far so good. I think I have settled in very well. The players have been very welcoming to me and have made me feel at home. I keep getting better everyday in training,” he noted.

Kaddu, formerly with Wakiso Giants at his home in Uganda adds; “In the first leg, I want to have 10 assists and three goals. It is something I believe that I can achieve. At the end of the season, I want to see the team winning the title because we have a good team with lots of quality.”
