Tusker FC defender Daniel Sakari has dedicated his goal, and the team’s qualification to the round of 16 of the MozzartBet FKF Cup to his daughter, Saira Sakari.
Sakari, delighted with his first competitive goal for Tusker FC, dedicates it to her.
“I am delighted definitely, and this is dedicated to my daughter,” Sakari said after the 2-1 win over Bumbani Stars in Ukunda on Sunday afternoon.
He adds; “I believe there is more to come. It (scoring) is something that I can do better and I want to put in more effort on it.”
The defender said he was delighted with the round of 16 ticket and lauded team effort in the victory.
“The first game of the tournament was always going to be hard but we have showed up well as a team to get the win. In a tournament, there is no underdog. Starting positively earns momentum for us and we can build on from here,” the defender further states.
