Tusker FC to switch to digital ticketing for all home matches

Tusker FC is pleased to announce that it will fully transition to digital ticketing, beginning with the team’s FKF Premier League home fixture against Shabana FC on Saturday, October 5.

The club confirmed that all fans will now purchase their matchday tickets exclusively online, a move aimed at enhancing convenience, improving security, and streamlining entry into the stadium.

Club CEO Sam Nzau said the new system is part of Tusker’s wider commitment to embracing technology and modernizing fan experience.

“We are excited to take this step forward as a club. Digital ticketing not only makes it easier for our supporters to access matches, but it also gives us a more secure and efficient way of managing stadium entry. This is the future of football, and we want to be at the forefront in embracing this change in Kenya,” Nzau stated.

He further noted that adopting a digital-first approach will help the club grow its fan base and enhance the matchday experience.

“At this age, technology is central to how people engage with sports and entertainment. By going digital, we want to make it seamless for fans to attend our matches and in turn attract even more supporters to back the team. It’s about making the Tusker FC experience bigger, better, and more accessible,” he added.

Our next home match will be in midweek, against Mathare United on October 1, at the Kasarani Annex, where entrance will be free. But, beginning with the duel against Shabana, tentatively set to be staged at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani, fans will buy tickets online, with their QR codes scanned at the entrances.

Details on vendors, price and ticket-buying tutorials will be released in the course of next week.
