The Tusker Youth team will continue with their FKF Division II League campaign on Sunday when they play away to PCEA Kikuyu at the Gikambura Ground.
Assistant coach Peter ‘PK’ Kariuki says the team is keen to continue with its winning run, having picked back to back victories since the turn of the second leg.
“The boys are well prepared tactically, physically, mentally and technically. PCEA is a good team and we have prepared well for them. We are looking forward to a win as we have started the second leg well and we want to pick up from where we left in our last match,” said the assistant coach.

He says the squad is looking fit, with only one injury, and believes the players have it in their hearts to give a good account.
“Our target this season is to be promoted to Division One and for us every game is like a final. We have 12 games remaining and we have to take each at a time and give our best. The players are really pushing each other in training and there is competition for places and I believe this will make us better,” he added.
Tusker Youth is currently placed fourth in the Div II standings with 29 points, 10 behind leaders Rware City who have played two matches more.
