Tusker FC winger Thomas Omolle hopes his first goal of the season can spur success this campaign.
Omolle scored the winning goal in last Saturday’s 1-0 win away to Mara Sugar and he believes finding the back of the net after several impressive performances is the catalyst he needs to spur his season.
“It was a huge delight to score and help the team win. I have been working hard to get that goal and getting it finally is a massive boost for me in terms of confidence. This season my target was to add goals and assists into my game. Last season, I didn’t record as much and I have been ambitious to try and improve,” Omolle said.

The winger says he has been paying more attention to his deliveries and eye for goal in training and believes the results are finally showing.
“As a forward, you are measured by either the goals you score or the assists you give. I hope to keep improving, keep scoring and keep assisting because that is what the team needs me for. Of course I still have lots to improve on and I am to ensure that I deliver more,” added the forward.
With only 11 games gone this season, scoring early will be an advantage to set into his targets and achieve them.
